Unofficial Builds
If you don't know what builds are, please check out the description in the "Speed up Firefox" part of the site.
What does my CPU support?
I recommend using CPU-Z to test what your Possessor supports, otherwise there is a fairly good list of what CPU supports what here. MOOX also marks his builds, but I'll go into that later.
Who's build should I use? - windows
mmoy
I personally use his builds, I would recommend people with CPU's that can handle SSE2 instructions use his builds. Both his 32bit and 64bit builds work just fine. He updates his builds weekly.
MOOX
His builds are perfect for beginners and people who just want an easy straight forward installation. The build of his that best suits your CPU can be found here.
Who's build should I use? - Linux/Mac OS X
I don't have ether of these platforms so I will just give you a list so you can chose for yourself. You can find the list here.

Firefox Versions
Firefox is constantly being developed so, as well as the public builds there are Beta, Alpha and Trunk builds.
What is a Trunk Build?
A trunk build is a version of Firefox that is constantly updated every day, I do not really recommend using them, because they can be highly unstable. Only use them if people on this forum recommend it or if one of the people that make the unofficial builds use it as a base for there build. I know for a fact mmoy only uses stable trunk builds.
What is an Alpha Build?
An Alpha build is a stable(ish) version of Firefox that does not have all the features of the next public build, but is as far as they have got. If you don't want to look out for the latest stable trunk get this build.
What is a Beta Build?
A Beta build of Firefox is like an Alpha build, but has all the features of the final build and is released to the public for widespread testing. When this build comes out it is probably the best time to switch builds.
Firefox Beta 1 is out.
